Joboo's Roll of Honor - 12/23

Some have come close, but Layne Skiles of Purdy gets the first triple double on the girls side this year going for 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists against Verona.  We also have our first block leader on the girls side as Bolivar's Michelle Gabani swats 7 against Hillcrest.  Other girls etching their names on the Roll of Honor include Caitlin Mueller of Thomas Jefferson and McAuley's Abby Schifelbein in rebounds, Rylee Neill of Lockwood, and Skiles of Purdy in assists, and Clever's Hannah Maples with 9 steals.

For the boys, 3 new categories get broken in.  Mansfield's Dylan Caruso gets 9 blocks to open up that leaderboard, Jeff Salmon of Hermitage is the first to grab a spot in steals with 9, and both J.T. Brown of Parkview and Teddy McMasters of Dadeville shoot perfect from the free throw line in a game with Brown hitting 13 and McMasters 11.  We also have a new scoring leader as Deric Jones of Hartville goes for 49 points in an 88-80 over Hazelwood Central.  Jared Ridder joins the scoring list torching Central for 40, Brendyn Taylor of McAuley has another double digit assist game, Golden City's Arlo Stump knocks down 8 3-pointers, and Brock Coffman, Treye Collins, and Conner McNew each score over 20 points for Mountain Grove as the Panthers defeat Fair Grove.

On the milestone front, we have our second 1,500 points scorer as Zac Sutt of Wheatland hits the mark.  And joining the 1,000 point club are ladies Casey Wallace of Spokane and Lacey Moore of Forsyth, and Hartville's Jones and Matthew Sommer of Nevada for the gentlemen.
