was in the championship game for the 3rd straight year (2011 lost to Midwest Outlaws 8-2; 2012 beat
Branson 7-2 in 8 innings).

Trevor Bowling and Michael Pfeifer of Willard were repeat players on the All-Tournament Team.
Pfeifer was the All-Tournament 1B in 2012.  For Bowling, it was his third straight selection.  In 2011 and
2012, he was a pick as a utility player.  For the three years, Bowling was 27 for 65 (.415), with 22 runs scored,
9 doubles, 1 triple, 1 HR, and 18 RBIs.  His HR came in the QF Friday vs. Mountain Home on the first
pitch of the game.  It bounced off the top of the left field fence at Meador and went over.

Rain affected the tournament on Wednesday and Thursday, but minimally.  The late game in Willard on
Wednesday had to be completed Thursday morning, and rain came to Catholic on Thursday, July 4th.  The
game in Willard was the only game suspended and completed the next day.

On Thursday in pool play in Republic, the A’s blew open a 0-0 tie with a 17-run inning vs. the LCA Chargers.
