*Although I believe that Aurora is improved I still have to give nod to Lamar, with both teams winless someone will break out, Lamar at this point will have a little bit more offensive fire power and come out on top.

*With both of these teams being winless as well this is a touph game to call, both teams lost many letterman from last year and Houston only returns 1 skill position player, Justin Schmidt, I have to give the nod to Ava but I wouldn't take that to the bank.

*Probably the game of the week in Southwest Missouri, you have a Rogersville team coming off a record setting season and a Liberator squad that is a mainstay at the top of that side of the COC. You have both coaches attempting to claim the role of underdog and probably neither of them deserving of that. Rogersville coming off of an impressive win at Branson while Bolivar easily, sort of, dispatched a Republic Tiger squad that for moments during the game looked to play with the Liberators. I have to live and work in Bolivar so that is the way I went, but to be honest it could go either way.

*Nixa's ability to handle Carthage at Carthage and Bransons loss to Rog at home has led me to this prediction. But never rule out a Steve Hancock coached team as the Pirates may have some new wrinkles.

*The records seem to tell the tail, Catholic seems to be improved over last year and now somewhat accustomed to the COC, where Buffalo is struggling to put points on the board. I have watched the Bison and they don't quit, just not enouph weapons.

*With the injuries to Jack, Dempster and Nunez Miller is not the team of 2 weeks ago and Greenfield is still for the most part the team of a year ago that advanced to the Quarters in the playoffs. With everyone healthy I think this may be a toss up, but they are not.
