3 Players from the Big 8 on the girls Class 4-5. Kenzie Williams was the girls Big 8 Player of the Year as voted on by the league coaches, but she wasn't good enough to make it on the Class 1-3 team here?

Guess she would have made it if she was in the Class 4-5 group.

not to take anything away from Kenzie Williams as she is a great player but most players and spectators in the big 8 except some of the coaches (who are notorious for weird voting, Chase Howerton not on 1st team as example)know there are 2 or 3 girls more deserving of the player of the year award.

Yep.....Nash, Lauffer, Cooper(East Newton) to name 3.

Dressler is spelt wrong and so is Hannah Wilkerson.

where did this list come from who decides?

Well, Kenzie Williams didn't get All-State either. Nuf Said!!!

Anonymous said...

half the girls on your team didn't make the all-state team. what's your point in "nuf said"?

Easy there Mt'neer, I thought the list was very fair. You are always going to miss people. There must be twice as many class 1,2 and 3 teams as 4 and 5. Can't have everybody make it.

Crash 07, is that Guy? How many times did he see her play? It wasn't enouph, she has to be on that list. What about Ali Stock? How is she not on this list, a D-I player.

Anonymous said...

Hey Ali Stock will get Nyla fired, she was the 4th best player on that team. Nyla must just be honoring that other coaches commitment to her. The best game she had all year was 12 and 10.

What about no boys players from the mid-lakes conference?

Mid-lakes boys basketball sucked this year, Skyline was OK and maybe Cameron Yates deserved it, but who do you take off?

Anonymous said...

Hannah Wilkerson isn't spelled wrong!!

Anonymous said...

I think that Chase Howerton was the best player by far in the Big 8 conference

Anyone know anything about the Chapman boy from Blue Eye? I thought their go to guys were Decker & Patton. Why didn't they make the list? Was it decided by stats?
