Thanks for having me on the show tonight and a special thanks on behalf of the coaching community for your great program. I am challenging ALL SWMO area coaches, both boys and girls, to call in your scores and chat with Guy on Tuesday and Friday nights from 10:00 pm til 11:30. This is a GREAT way to promote your community, school, program, and players!
With the News-Leader dropping the ball on reporting scores and coverage of teams outside the "Metro" area (anyone else notice the disclaimer saying if you do not see your team's scores reported talk to your coach????)....I tried for close to an hour to report our first game scores only to have a BLANK friggin screen after my first game this year. I am sure many of my fellow coaches will attest, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but for the LOVE of all that is righteous, I shouldn't need a doctorate degree to enter scores and have yet another reponsibility as coach following a game! If the News-Leader were smart, they would sponsor Guy's program to gather the info, create a simple, user-friendly stat sheet, and utilize this site to gather game information on teams outside a 10 mile radius of Springfield. Just one DUMB coach's thoughts! Obviously the system that the News-leader is currently using is not working...or at least this dumb coach cannot use! Keep up the great work GUY!

On most Tuesday nights and all Friday nights you can listen to the A/C Trophy HS Scoreboard show on 98.7 FM (The Jock). If you are not in the area, you can stream it live by clicking under the sponsors (right side on the home page of this site) on Jock 98.7 Listen Live.
Guy and Derrick (SP?) do a great job of giving ALL of the updated scores (boys and girls) along with live interviews from area coaches after games.
This website, along with the radio show has been a blessing for area coaches to promote teams and players! The "mainstream" print media has dropped the ball and I am POSITIVE the Lady Liberator program will not be featured in any upcoming articles in a certain "regional" newspaper in the near future, but thanks to Guy coaches in SWMO have an outlet to promote their programs, players, and community.
Keep up the great work Guy, and ANONYMOUS...I am sorry I stepped onto the soapbox, but I am simply stating what several other AREA coaches are thinking!
