All-Scoreboard Banquet

Well the 2nd Annual All-Scoreboard Team Banquet is set, it will be Saturday April 10, at the Clarion on the south side of Springfield at 5pm. The cost for the dinner is 15$ and will be due at the door. However, we do ask that you rsvp by April 5th so we know how many meals to prepare. To rsvp simply email me (gnewcomb@bolivar.k12.mo.us) or text me 417-327-6914 with the players name and how many in his\her party. We will begin with the autograph session and then pictures (please have athletes bring a uniform top for the picture). If you have any questions please call me at the above number. Thanks and we will see you on the tenth.

3.5.10 Class 1 District 5 Finals

Girls

On the girls side it was #1 Humansville with a four-point victory over #3 Climax Springs in the District 5 Championship game. The Lady Tigers will face Verona in sectionals on Tuesday, March 9th at Southwest Baptist University. Verona defeated Walnut Grove Lady Tigers in the District 6 girls championship game.

Boys

The Dadeville Bearcats win their second consecutive District 5 title with an impressive 81-50 win over the Fair Play Hornets. Dadeville looks very good going into a sectional rematch with Chadwick on Tuesday at SBU. The Bearcats are deep, aggressive, and play terrific defense. Look for them to continue their great team play this post season.
