Class 4-5 Girls Rankings
1. Kickapoo
* Don't let there record fool you, they have played the touphest schedule in the state. With a monster win over Webb City Look for that district once again to possibley provide the State with the 5A State Champion like it did last year.
2. Webb City
* With a win over Midwest City who eventually beat Nixa, Webb is young and only going to get better as the year goes on, Class 4 in SW Missouri is not as strong as it has been in the past so the Lady Cardinals have to be the favorite to make it to Columbia.
3. Nixa
* Still one of the most talented teams in SW Missouri, can't count them out when it gets to crunch time. Bethany Funderburke may be the best offensive player in the area.
4. Glendale
* Coming off of 3 losses in the KTXR the lady Falcons need to re-group and get back to that basketball which led to two wins over Ozark earlier in the year.
5. West Plains
* With a second place finish in the P&W, they may be the team that threatens Webb City, Parkview, Ozark and Branson all finished behind West Plains but also could be in this conversation.
Class 4-5 Boys
1. Branson
* Re-loaded with a new look and getting considerable contributions from Avery Dingman and Tee Helsel, the Pirates dispatched what I thought was easily the best team in the B&G in Nixa, that class 5 boys district will be a bear as well.
2. Nixa
* still think they are the deepest team, and as their young players get some experience they will be a handful down the stretch.
3. Ozark
* after another B&G championship and an early win over Fayetteville, the Tigers have some big victories this season, struggling with Spokane and Strafford is something that alot of teams will do this year.
4. Hillcrest
* at this point the Hornets have been doing it with mirrors, Losing Jr. guard Byron Williams for the last two games has caused them to struggle offensively, with his return and the addition of Trey Starks this month the Hornets should be able to make a run in the Ozark Conference.
5. Glendale
* another very young team, without a senior on the squad the Falcons will gain from some experience as the season goes on.

Scoreboard Guy Power Rankings 1-1-10
Well after an eventfull 7 days of Holiday tourneys I am ready to list who I think are some of the better teams in Southwest Missouri. We will rank them with regards to classification keeping classes 1-3 together and 4-5 together.
Class 1-3 Boys
1. Strafford
* After an impressive showing in the B&G the Indians have to be on top of this list, losing at the buzzer to Ozark and beating a very good Mt. Vernon team in the third place game.
2. Spokane
*Also getting beat by Ozark at the buzzer, the Owls look to hav a great season in a very touph conference and District, they should be fun to watch down the stretch.
3. Mt. Vernon
* With a Player like Zack Kliene the Mountaineers always have a shot, taking Hillcrest to 3 ot's before losing a game where both teams were short players key to thier success thus far. Look for the Mountaineers to rebound nicely when Tettenhorst returns.
4. Clever
*After erasing a 20+ point defecit to Bolivar they just couldn't get it going against Nixa, the Eagles had a lot to do with that. But look for them to make a run at the end as well.
5. Seneca, Southwest, Dadeville, Miller all these teams have had good starts and look to make runs now as we start conference play.
Class 1-3 Girls

*At 9-1 the Lady Mountaineers have gotten of to a great start including winning 2 tournaments the latest being the Pink and White. The only blemish being a 6 pt loss at Nixa. With big wins over Fair Grove and West Plains this is a team that should contend for several late season honors.
2. Conway
*Now this is where it get tricky, these next few teams will all make noise at the end of the year I believe.

*Look for this team to be there in the end as well, a decent showing in the P&W playing Mt. Vernon very close for the 1st half of that game.
